'2023 Notes

  • Play Days: Typically teams will play one day during the week and one day on the weekend.
  • Players should register for the division they will play in the Spring of '2023
  • Online Payments are now open...
  • ALL '2023 North Penn Little Leaguers, NP Raiders, NP Cannoneers wishing to play baseball in the Spring are required to register online (includes an updated liability waiver) in one of our the programs listed below.
  • For Cannoneers Junior, Senior, and Raider's Travel Baseball - additional fees may apply based on your specific team assignment/s
  • Credits will appear in your online balance ledgers in brackets (###)
  • All NP Raiders must register and participate in NPLL In-house Baseball

North Penn Little League / North Penn Baseball Programs are age / grade appropriate and organized to continually expose the player to new skills and increasing competition.  All Players will be assigned to the age division they will play in the  '2023 Season. If parents have legitimate concerns about their child’s placement in a particular Division, the League will
consider making appropriate accommodations.

Our Refund Policy

  • If a refund is requested for any reason not listed in the cases below, the request should be submitted in writing to North Penn Little League. This refund if approved by the League Board will be less processing fees and cost of the uniform.
  • Refund requests may be submitted for approval of the League Board any time prior to the placement on team.
  • Refunds are considered for an injury or moving that would cause a child to miss more than half of the season's scheduled games.
    • For fees refunded due to an injury, the League President and Treasurer will coordinate at their discretion.
  • Refund requests due to a cancelled season for any reason including Covid 19 are at the discretion and approval of the League Board and may not include processing fees incurred by the league
  • Refunds, partial refunds, credits will not typically be offerred for the following reasons:
    • Games or practices canceled due to inclement weather
    • Player decides not to play after placement/selection to a team or receipt of uniform

     Scholarships​ (available)

  • All approved scholarship recipients must volunteer for at least 10 hours of North Penn Little League service. Little League President will coordinate all hours.
  • Scholarships must be approved by the executive board.  All parents or legal guardians seeking scholarships must apply by requesting a one-on-one interview with the President.

Spring 2023 Pee Wee (3/4 Year-Old) Registration

Pee Wee Division (Ages 3-4) The Pee Wee division is designed for boys and girls who want to learn the fundamentals of hitting and fielding.  To begin each session, the players will participate in “Quick Ball” style drills (Running, Throwing, Hitting, & Catching) followed by a modified game. During games, players will use a batting tee to hit the ball and the rules of the game will be varied to accommodate the need for teaching.  Besides stressing fundamentals of baseball, we want to allow the players to experience the value of teamwork and to HAVE FUN!

All players are also required to provide their own batting helmet with a face mask attached to the helmet..  Each player will receive a team Jersey  & Hat.

Parents are strongly encouraged to become involved in this introduction level of Little League. After completing a Little League volunteer application and passing a required national background check, parents must become involved and be coaches, managers, umpires and other volunteer positions within the league.

Spring 2023 T-Ball Division Program (Ages 4/5/6)

Tee Ball Baseball is for boys and girls 5-6 years old who want to learn the fundamentals of hitting and fielding.

In Tee Ball, players hit a ball off a batting tee. Rules of the game will be varied to accommodate the need for teaching.

The primary goals of Tee Ball are to instruct children in the fundamentals of baseball and to allow them to experience the value of teamwork.

Parents are strongly encouraged to become involved in this introduction level of Little League. After completing a Little League volunteer application and passing a required national background check, parents must become involved and be coaches, managers, umpires and other volunteer positions within the league.

Spring 2023 AA (Machine Pitch) Division Program

AA Division (Ages 7-8)  The AA (Machine Pitch) division is intended to be a bridge between T Ball and our kid pitch AAA division.  The AA division is an instructional division where players will continue to develop their (batting, catching & throwing) skills and be introduced to defensive ready positions and baserunning.  In the AA division, the players will be hitting live baseballs that are fed into a pitching machine by their coach.  All players will bat in a continuous batting order. .  No scores will be kept and all teams will participate in the AA playoffs.

Catchers will be utilized for those that are interested.  Catchers equipment will be provided by the league, however each player interested in catching must wear their own protective cup.  All players are also required to provide their own batting helmet with a face mask attached to the helmet..  Each player will receive a team Jersey, Pants  & Hat.

*Some 6 year-olds may be considered for this program. Email kelleyreed@npennbaseball.com with inquiries if your child is not eligible to register for this division*

Spring 2023 AAA Division Program

AAA Division (Ages 9-10)  The AAA division will be the players first year facing live pitching.  Players will be taught more advanced fundamentals of baseball (hitting, fielding, throwing & baserunning) and will be introduced to pitching and catching techniques.  All players will bat in a continuous batting order and scores will be kept.  At the end of the season, all teams will participate in the AAA playoffs.  Jr./Volunteer umpires will be unitized in the AAA Division. Catchers equipment will be provided by the league, however each player interested in catching must wear their own protective cup.  All players are also required to provide their own batting helmet.  Each player will receive a team Jersey & Hat but are required to provide their own pants.

Spring 2023 Intermediate Division Program

Intermediate Division (Ages 11-12)  The Intermediate Division will be played at 50/70 fields.  This division is intended to continue to advance the fundamentals of batting, fielding, throwing, baserunning and Pitching/Catching.  The players will also be introduced to leadoffs and pitchers picking off baserunning. This division will be a competitive setting where scores will be kept for playoff seeding and professional umpires will be utilized to ump the games. 

Catchers equipment will be provided by the league, however each player interested in catching must wear their own protective cup.  All players are also required to provide their own batting helmet.  Each player will receive a team Jersey & Hat but are required to provide their own pants.

Spring 2023 Juniors/Seniors

2023 Junior/Senior League Recreational Program.

This program provides baseball  for 13-19 year olds. The program is designed for both recreational and travel baseball players and will focus on fundamentals, skill development and game reps.

Teams will be divided up based on age and ability.  This program is for baseball players who want to continue their baseball careers on the big diamond and/or get in playing time in addition to their school, AAU and/or Travel baseball program. This program will stress skill development and game reps. Try-outs are not required for this program.  All players will be assigned to a roster. Juniors baseball will be coordinated with North Penn Cannoneers 13u - 19u travel baseball schedules. 

NOTES:

1. Players siging up for NP Cannoneers Jrs. are strongly encouraged to register for NP Cannoneers Winter Workouts (seperate registration link and dues required)

2. Seperate fees may apply for NP Cannoneers Travel Baseball Team Participants.

Spring 2023 Challenger Division (all ages)

Challenger Division is a program for mentally and/or physically challenged players to enjoy the full benefits of Little League participation in an athletic environment structured to their abilities.  The value of the Challenger Division is found in the benefits of participation in sports, the strengthening of the participants' self-esteem, the opportunities to mainstream into other divisions of play, and the disciplines of teamwork and fair play.

2023 NP Cannoneers Seniors SUMMER Program

Program will start on or around the completion of school baseball.  Players will be assigned based on skill level, availability, previous participation and baseball goals.  Competition options will vary and may include weekly games, tournaments, scrimmages, etc...A coach will be in touch towards the end of the school year.
