Divisional programs are provided for league ages 4-16.

NP Raiders District Tournament / Travel Teams are available for in-house players league ages 7-16.

North Penn Little League / North Penn Baseball Programs are age / grade appropriate and organized to continually expose the player to new skills and increasing competition.  All Players will be assigned to the age division they will play in the  2020 Season. If parents have legitimate concerns on their child’s placement in a particular Division, the League will
consider making appropriate accommodations.

 

    Residence Requirements

  • Follow this link League Finder to verify if you live or go to a school within the North Penn Little League boundaries. If you are interested in playing in our league and for one our teams that participate in the District / International Tournaments, participation is subject to residency or school enrollment within our Little League Boundaries or you will need to meet one of the other residency criteria.

    Our Refund Policy

  • Refund requests submitted anytime prior to the end of evaluations for each player's division:

  • All fees will be refunded within this period, less $10 (which includes all online transaction fees).

  • Other than stated above, no refunds will be granted, except for an injury or move that would cause a child to miss more than half of the season's scheduled games.

    • For fees refunded due to an injury, the League President and Treasurer will coordinate at their discretion.

    • Refunds or partial refunds will not be considered for the following reasons:

    • Games or practices canceled due to inclement weather

    • Player decides not to play after placement/selection to a team or receipt of uniform

     Scholarships​

  • All approved scholarship recipients must volunteer for at least 10 hours of North Penn Little League service. Little League President will coordinate all hours.
  • Scholarships must be approved by the executive board.  All parents or legal guardians seeking scholarships must apply by requesting a one-on-one interview with the President.

 

2020 T-Ball Registration (Spring)

Tee Ball Baseball is for boys and girls 4-6 years old who want to learn the fundamentals of hitting and fielding. The players participate in "Quick Ball" Style drills followed by a modified game.

In Tee Ball, players hit a ball off a batting tee. Rules of the game will be varied to accommodate the need for teaching. The primary goals of Tee Ball are to instruct children in the fundamentals of baseball and to allow them to experience the value of teamwork.

Parents are strongly encouraged to become involved in this introduction level of Little League. After completing a Little League volunteer application and passing a required national background check, parents must become involved and be managers, coaches and Team Parent.

2020 AA Division Registration (Spring)

AA Division (Ages 7-8 *select 6 year-olds) This is an instructional division where players hit live Safety Balls (reduced impact) machine pitched, no scores are kept and a continuous batting order is used. Players are taught throwing, catching, batting, defensive ready position and running the bases. The AA Machine Pitch Division is intended to be a bridge between T-Ball and AAA (player pitch). All players in the (Machine Pitch) Division receive participation trophies. An annual mid-season skills competition is held as well as all-star game and post-season tournament (as determined by the coaches).

2020 AAA Division Registration (Spring)

AAA Division (Ages 9-10*) A fully competitive division.Games are played on a Little League field (46/60).�Players pitch, protective cups are required for all catchers, scores and standings are kept and a continuous batting order is used.� Jr. or Certified umpires are utilized.� All teams in the�AAA Division participate in a post season tournament in which the winning team and runner-up receive trophies.��An annual mid-season All-Star game is held.

2020 Intermediate Division Registration (Spring)

Intermediate Division (Ages 11-13) Games will be played on 50/70-foot diamond. This division of Little League Baseball is more advanced than younger Little League divisions due to more advanced rules, including the ability to lead-off and steal as the pitcher breaks, along with longer base paths and greater pitching distance.

2020 Challenger Division (Spring)

Challenger Division is a program for mentally and/or physically challenged players to enjoy the full benefits of Little League participation in an athletic environment structured to their abilities.  The value of the Challenger Division is found in the benefits of participation in sports, the strengthening of the participants' self-esteem, the opportunities to mainstream into other divisions of play, and the disciplines of teamwork and fair play.

2020 Junior League Registration (Spring)

Junior League (Ages 13-14) Games are played on a regulation MLB baseball field (60/90). The season starts in early April to June (regular Season) games are played against local communities, mostly within a 30-minute drive. International Tournaments start in late June or early July.The league has an option to choose a Tournament Team (or "All Stars") of 13-14-year-olds from within this division and the team may enter the International Tournament. The culmination of the International Tournament is the Junior League Baseball World Series, featuring teams from around the world.

2019-2020 6-8 Year Old Winter Workouts and 8U Travel Try-outs

Players aged 6,7,8 (NPLL - AA Division) interested in beginning competitive baseball and improving their skills are invited to register for this FREE program.  Workouts will begin in early November and run into December.  All eligible players are invited to participate.  Players wishing to "try-out" for the newly forming '2020 8U Raiders Travel Team should plan on attending these workouts.  8U Raiders Try-outs will come after the initial set of developmental workouts.

*Travel Baseball is a competitive extention of our in-house program.  Teams participate in extra practices and games during the Winter and Spring and 2-4 tournaments during the summer months. 

**All travel players must also play on an NPLL in-house team. Age determination is based upon 2019 age charts.
